with biomaterials
Hard materials
• Statice Santé is able to design and manufacturing
parts made of alumina, ceramics, ruby, sapphire, in cooperation with
its partners.
Metal materials
• Statice Santé is a specialist in micromechanics
and miniaturisation.
• Statice Santé uses the latest precision technologies to
work metal biomaterials such as stainless steel and titanium: CNC, screw
cutting, laser machining, cutting, …
• Statice Santé also offers tribological possibilities for
improving the mechanical and biological performances of certain implants.
• Statice Santé is also able to use shape memory or super
elastic nickel-titanium alloys for special applications.
Silicone elastomers
• Implantable medical grade < 30 days.
• Implantable medical grade > 30 days.
• Compression, transfer or dip moulding of all the silicones available
on the market.
• Silicones may be coloured or rendered radio-opaque depending
on the customer's specifications.
Thermoplastics
•The range of thermoplastic polymers available is very
wide: PE, PU, PTFE, PSU, PP, PSU, PC, POM, PEEK…
Biodegradable materials
• Statice Santé is able to provide moulded and
extruded parts depending on the performances required and in agreement
with the customer.
• We are able to guarantee the purity, thermoplastic transformation
and optimum consumption of biodegradable materials in the polyglycolic
and polylactic family.
• According to the product specifications, Statice Santé is
able propose the most appropriate of these polymers.
Composite materials
• Several biomaterials can be combined during the moulding process
to create composite biomaterials.
• Exemple :
• Silicone, polyester fabric, and shape memory or super-elastic
alloys
• Thermoplastic co-extrusion
• Metal and thermoplastic multiplayer sheathing
